In slang, ‘ick’ means feeling grossed out or disgusted by something. It’s used when something or someone is unappealing or unpleasant.

For example, if someone finds a particular food unappetizing, they might say, ‘That looks so ick,’ or if they encounter a person with unappealing behavior, they might comment, ‘He gives me major ick vibes.’ ‘Ick’ is often used informally in conversations among friends or peers to express distaste or discomfort in a lighthearted or humorous manner.

For instance, if someone sees a creepy bug, they might say, ‘Ew, that’s ick!’ It’s a casual way to express dislike or discomfort.
