Marketers Share What They Are Thankful for This Thanksgiving

Table of Contents

The year 2021 went by in a breeze, and thanksgiving is upon us now. It is insane to think that in like a month, it would be Christmas, and then we would step in 2022, a new year. We have no idea what the new year would look like and what challenges it would hold for us.

However, before stepping into the new year, we must pay thanks to the year that we had before.

Personally, here at Social Champ, we are thankful for the year that we had, the clients that trusted us with their social media, and for health!

Let’s see what the community is thankful for!

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for a healthy body and mind, which I have a newfound appreciation for as I went through a near-death experience this year. This year also taught me that even the smallest of blessings each day is enough and that a good support system is all that one should wish for. I am thankful for my friends and co-founders who make my life much better.

I am also thankful for the family that I found in my Social Champ team; we all cried and laughed together throughout the year. Lastly, I am incredibly thankful for the business year that I had and all the clients that trusted us with their social media management!

This year, I am grateful to have the space to work and have a newborn. It is such a blessing that I don’t have to give up one for the other! And although I may be missing out on some sleep with the newborn, I have gratitude that one of my key moments of learning this year is that sleep and visibility aren’t mutually exclusive!

As a Brit, one of my greatest disappointments is not being able to celebrate Thanksgiving. But suppose I were breaking bread with my colleagues from across the pond today. In that case, I’d be most thankful for the amazing marketing community that has accepted and supported me in my creative pursuits over the last 24 months. Social media can be truly astounding when you find the right people.

My advice for anyone hesitant about using it to learn, connect or teach around their craft is simply to be yourself and have fun. You have value, and there’s a huge group of people out there ready to experience it.

This year has been the turning point in my life. I finally managed to go full-time as an affiliate marketer while freelancing on the side, but less and less.

But that’s the second thing I’m most grateful for.

The thing I’m most grateful for is my continued good health. In the last 5 years, I endured constant starvation, and though I’m out of that phase now, I was deeply worried about the consequences of long-term malnutrition and stress my body would suffer. I’m happy and grateful that there are none. I’m healthier than ever. All that is left are memories and lessons learned. Let us all move on to the more prosperous 2022. Cheers!

This year, I have much to be thankful for. I received two honors milestones in my blogging career: I was named the Best Internet Marketer and the Most Outstanding Blogger by the Infinity Blogging Awards. I am extremely grateful for the support of the blogging community, such as my readers and my blogging friends. This year I learned the value of Topical Authority.

Ranking on Google is predictable to a large degree if you have Topical Authority in a topic. Write about that topic repeatedly. Google knows you have experience and looks upon you as an expert on that topic and, therefore, will rank you higher. If you want to rank on Google, don’t just write about what you know; write about what you have a history of writing about.

1) I’m grateful to God to be blessed with a good health-food-shelter, the sense to feel the comfort I’ve been given, and the ability to take care of my family despite the pandemic disaster.

2) I’m thankful to people around me for uplifting my spirit to keep learning and thriving in my small business ventures.

3) I’m thankful for collaborating with value creators like Social Champ, Anthony Gaenzle, Nikola Roza, Lisa Sicard, and many lovely people out there.

4) I’m grateful to be blessed with a baby girl whose smiles will light up my face with infinite joy.

5) As I count my blessings this year…here’s my most significant learning – As we go about being ahead in life’s rat race, we often get caught up in achieving things we don’t have and overlook the little blessings we have been given.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for my family in every way. With the pandemic, I couldn’t meet my family like many others. But at the same time, my friends and support circle that is around where I live became my family. It taught me selflessness, kindness, being mindful and sometimes just being that listening ear where nothing else was expected.

The one lesson I learned this year was we are all human..we are all unique in our own ways yet united in so many other ways. Be it need to help one another along with the need to change and emerge on top. That is what true evolution is and what will make us better equipped for an uncertain future.

This Thanksgiving, I want to share a sincere “thank you” to every person present with me this year, both offline and online. Thanks for the constant support and infinite love from my family. Thanks to my company atwix.com for being a model workplace. Thanks to the Magento community for being so outstanding. This year I started a mentoring path; many thanks to my mentees for their trust.

I’ve found that educating people is a kind of psychotherapy. And a huge special thanks to my cycling coach Ihor Pylypchyk. I enjoyed your training sessions so much; my life will never be the same. I had a great year, and all of you are such a big part of it.

2021 has been a roller coaster for me. From moving across continents to building a community on Instagram, it has been a blessing. My community has been a source of strength for me. The relationships that I have built using the power of social media are something I am grateful for.

Since starting my brand journey, I have had the fortune of working with multiple global brands and a few global influencers doing some amazing work. I am grateful for working on my MBA from one of the best business schools in the world. I am grateful for working with one of the leading performance marketing agencies in the world. I am grateful for the good health of my family and friends.
