2020, A Year To Remember!
With 2020 behind us, this is the perfect time to reflect on the year that we have had. There is no point in denying that 2020 was a rollercoaster of a year, but it taught us some valuable lessons. As a company, it brought forward the qualities that we never thought we had.
The team and the company as a whole pushed against the challenges and conquered the social space, one profile at a time. We learned how to operate in unfortunate circumstances and come back even stronger.
Unfortunately, not everyone was as lucky. Local businesses were forced to go into survival mode. However, we promised ourselves that we would focus on getting through the year and helping others fight through the pandemic. Luckily enough, we were able to set aside funds to support such businesses.
2020 also pushed forward our team’s resiliency to get their jobs done and serve customers in many different ways. Our customer support team gave their best to solve all queries. The development team fulfilled their promises by launching some of the most requested features, and the creative team generated terrific content.
In 2021, we aim to grow Social Champ into an even bigger entity, which will enable us to serve a much bigger clientele in a much better way.

We pushed through the challenges and achieved a lot throughout the year. In 2020, three thousand nine hundred and forty-eight new customers joined us. They registered nine thousand four hundred and forty-four social profiles across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business, Twitter, and Pinterest.
More than one million posts were spread across the six social media platforms that we offer, with over eighty-five thousand posts on Facebook only!
You posted 1,292,376 posts across all six platforms, out of which 25,046 were video posts, 436,268 were image posts, and 831,062 were text posts.
New Features & Improvements in 2020
We added some of the most requested features within the tool, including Analytics 2.0, bulk upload, and the social media calendar. The new analytics features show comparisons on a week-to-week and a month-to-month basis for each social profile with platform-specific metrics.
The social media calendar provides a view of all scheduled posts with drag-drag and hovers to edit. The bulk upload features save you a truckload of time, as it allows you to schedule a ton of posts with a few clicks.
At the end of the year, the most awaited and requested feature was finally launched. We’re so glad and proud to announce the release of ‘Instagram Direct Publishing via Zapier.’
Growing As A Champ Fam
This year started with a search for a Creative Director – a big step up for our team since we wanted to revamp our website to provide a cleaner interface. Secondly, we were looking for a marketing lead to grow our higher management.
However, by the end of 2020, we not only had two excellent leads, but our team also grew by seven more members. All nine new members are highly valuable and make an incredible addition to our team!
The team also developed a whole new set of skills by stepping out of their comfort zones. We had several Zoom calls to ensure that the entire team was on the same page and provide our clients with the best of the best.
Virtual learning was at an all-time high in 2020; our CEO sent us department-specific courses to learn and educate ourselves. We took part in many online discussions and discussed them in-depth through thousand plus Zoom calls even as a team.
Growing As A Community!
In 2020, we grew in more ways than one. We learned. We adapted. We showed persistence. But above all, we did not give up in the face of hardships. We fought our way through the pandemic and came out even stronger than before.
We kept on moving forward, and we are glad that so did you.
Through the incredible amount of dedication that our team has and the trust that you put in us, we are able to label the year 2020 as profitable.
We cannot be more glad and thankful to all our users that keep on giving us even more reasons to move towards a better product.

The year 2020 has been a challenging year for most of us, especially for small and medium-sized businesses. A lot of us lost our loved ones. In these challenging times, our company tried a little to give back by taking part in donation campaigns, helping businesses by offering free access to the product, and providing individual marketing consultancy to grow their business. Everything was possible because we had support from you, our customers, friends, and mentors. We were also lucky to raise another round of investment during this pandemic.
We had a steady growth in customers, signups, and traffic throughout the year. We streamlined our internal processes to provide better customer support, release the most requested features and make the product simpler and easier to use. In 2020, Social Champ had a significant change in user experience and upgrades to our features. We thank all of you for providing feedback and asking for features that help you become more productive on social media. We additionally grew our team and made essential hirings to scale faster and provide a better quality product experience.
2021 looks promising so far with all the new changes in our company!
